Labelexpo is coming soon: Barcelona, September 16–19 2025. After 38 years in Brussels, Labelexpo Europe 2025 is heading south for its most ambitious and innovative edition yet. More than 650 exhibitors, up about 15% from 2023, will gather at Fira Gran Via for a show that redefines the entire supply chain of labels, flexible packaging, and folding cartons.
In this edition, after two years of waiting, the trade fair transforms into a true Festival of Innovation. Key highlights include dedicated showcases for folding cartons, the integration of inline, digital, and sustainable technologies, and a growing crossover between sectors. One in five exhibitors already has a portfolio that spans all three categories, clear evidence of an evolving market ready to diversify and offer tailor-made solutions.
The focal point: Pulse Arena
At the heart of the event, the Pulse Arena (Hall 7, Stand 7B27) will be a hub for learning and networking. Here, visitors will delve into critical topics such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), artificial intelligence, automation, and the potential of hybrid technologies. Master Classes, coordinated by the Label Academy, will focus on three strategic areas: folding cartons, RFID, and automation in label production.
Sustainability: a practical, tangible commitment
Sustainability goes beyond slogans at Labelexpo 2025. Notable initiatives include an exclusive partnership with DMP Europe to collect and recycle label matrix waste, transforming it into reusable products such as pallets and industrial bumpers. The event also embraces the “Better Stands” program by Informa, aimed at reducing waste and maximizing the reuse of stand materials.
Networking and the city as a stage
The social side will not be overlooked: the opening night will bring industry professionals to the Time Out Market Barcelona, offering a unique opportunity to connect over great food and live music, a celebration that mirrors the dynamic and inspiring atmosphere of the Festival.
Labelexpo Europe 2025 stands out as the global reference point for the packaging industry, thanks to its winning mix of innovation, training, and sustainability. For brand owners, converters, designers, and operators, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, meet key partners, and prepare for the future challenges of packaging.
